A librarian's musings.....
Like many of us in cyberspace, I've been an avid reader since childhood. I read anything I could get my hands on-books, newspapers, comic books and school books required for class reading.
Later in life, I became a teacher, and taught reading.
When my children were born, I took them to story time and read to them. I still remember the wonderful stories I read to them.
Now, as a librarian, I still read-even more so! I can't get enough books in my bag to take home and plow through.
I've always avoided blogging as I am a private person. I don't want to share my life story with you....and who cares what I think anyways? I'd much rather listen and read about other people-what they write, and what they think!
Now, as a children's librarian, I DO want to share what great literature is out there-from wordless books, chapter books, and all of the other wonderful methods we have today for sharing stories.
So, into the fray I go! Here's hoping I can find a book that you like too. Please feel free to comment, and suggest books for me to review.
