Genealogy
In my MLIS course work at Kent State, I took an interesting class called "Local History and Genealogy". This class taught us how to do in-depth genealogy work, and how to develop local resources given any local library.
Collection development plan
Below you will find a fictional collection development plan based on a real local library-Kent Free library in Kent, Ohio. Our task was to examine the current collection, and then create a collection development policy for that library to strengthen the library's holdings.
I have attached a link to the PDF for this below. The collection plan is 6 pages.

Local Resources
Another class assignment was to pick a county in Ohio, and to create a reference sheet to find local resource material. The link below takes you to to this sheet.

Research Paper
Joseph Ireland, AIA architect
As a final project, I created an in-depth genealogy research on a local architect who lived at the turn of the century in Cleveland. Please see the new page entitled "Joseph Ireland".
